About Andrea
Andrea Williamson was born and grew up in Lafayette, Louisiana. She attended Our Lady of Fatima Catholic School and St. Thomas More High School. She went on to attend the University of Louisiana at Lafayette where she graduated with a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts with a concentration of Painting.
She currently lives in Lafayette and works at LHC Group (home health and hospice) where she coordinates and hosts virtual classrooms for the education and leaderships department. In her spare time, Andrea is a passionate artist who currently practices her art through illustrations. She is also a passionate animal lover and works with various animal charities around Lafayette.
About Evan
Evan Schoen was born and grew up in New Orleans, Louisiana. He attended St. Pius X, Christian Brothers and Jesuit High School. After Hurricane Katrina during his Junior year, he finished high school at Catholic High School of New Iberia. From there he went on to attend the University of Louisiana at Lafayette where he graduated with a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts with a concentration of Graphic Design.
Evan currently lives in Lafayette, Louisiana. He works providing advertising agencies and clients with Graphic Design, Videography, Marketing, Social Media and Website services through his business, Remagined, with his business partner and best man, Will.
Otto & Shuggie

Otto is a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel / Rat Terrier mix. He weighs 25lbs and loves human attention of any kind. He has been inseparable from his mama since his gotcha day on May 6, 2013. His favorite activity is messing up the couch pillows to create his own bed.
Shuggie is a 13lb tabby who adopted Evan after refusing to leave his apartment. He rules the neighborhood and all of the neighbors know it. He enjoys following Otto on walks and making sure his humans are safe. He grooms Otto, and we are pretty sure he thinks Otto is his property as he protects him from neighborhood dogs.
The Engagement
Evan and Andrea met during their freshman year of college in the College of the Arts at UL in Drawing I. They became the best of friends and would remain as friends for four years. It wasn’t until Evan invited Andrea to a Mardi Gras Ball that they began dating. After five years dating and eight years of being best friends, Evan decided to pop the question to Andrea.
On November 15, 2015, Evan contacted their close friend, photographer and fellow artist, Nicole Bell, to help him surprise Andrea. Under the guise of a “Christmas Photoshoot,” Evan had Nicole Bell take photographs of the couple in Jungle Gardens on Avery Island, Louisiana. A location special to Evan and Andrea.
On Nicole’s cue (but only after forgetting the code word until the third time she said it), Evan got down on one knee and surprised Andrea by asking her to be his wife. The following photographs are the actual moment of their engagement.
